Sometimes our CEO Sean gives us some pretty ambitious tasks. We figured it was time to give one to him.

We challenged Sean to go 900+ miles from where Gotcha began in Tallassee, FL all the way to Austin — on a trike. The marketing team tagged along to share the trek in real time and build buzz about the trike before SXSW. A film crew came along to document the experience and cut together a short doc to be screened during the festival at our own event.

The
Documentary.

After 7 days of trekking through southern backroads, we edited together a short doc
to premiere at our own event during SXSW.

It's All
Modular.

This campaign utilized numerous marketing tactics so I created a modular grid system for the Trike Trek designs to live in.

To get the word out we hung posters all over the city as well as handing out coasters, stickers, koozies, and flyers all around Austin.

The
Event.

The trek concluded at our Trike Trek Test Track event nextdoor to SXSW. People came by to test out Gotcha’s line of mobility products and take a spin on the Trike. They also enjoyed some snacks and beers while watching the premiere of the short documentary that we filmed during our week on the road.

“While other companies focus more holistically on the brand in their marketing, Gotcha’s documentary feels far more personal.”
